Lindsey Michael, LMSW
Lindsey is a Licensed Master Social Worker with a degree from Smith College. She works with teens and adults dealing with issues ranging from anxiety and depression to relationships, chronic illness, and challenges related to being LGBTQ+ in this world.
Lindsey has a relational, trauma-informed approach to therapy. She’s a queer therapist who is queer- and trans-affirming, and she practices with a body positive/body neutral lens. As a white therapist she works to be explicitly anti-racist and have cultural competency/humility in her practice!
Lindsey says:
“It’s hard being a person in this day and age. The world feels like it’s becoming more broken with every passing moment, and we’re here just trying to survive on top of it all. Exploring ourselves, our wants and needs, and finding what is holding us back and what we want from life, can end up taking the back-burner when faced with so many huge systemic problems. I’m here to help co-create a space specifically for you to explore your most authentic self outside of the pressures of society. There is no shame here. Let’s come together and look at where you want to be, and what you’ve been struggling with. I’d love to hear from you!”
